About our offer
All the artworks shown on this website may be purchased. The exception is where there is a notice for third party ownership (concerns only publicly available artworks like D.Sippel/Hotel Hopper). Pictures of these items are displayed to give a broader view of the artist.
We are happy to meet you for a personal conversation upon appointment. We also arrange contact directly between artist and buyer. We arrange visits to the artist's studio, inform you on current or upcoming exhibitions and alert you to new works from the artists.
We offer a special service for artists to establish contacts with other artists, to promote contacts internationally and to maintain Art as a universal language. In other words, we help you to expand your horizon in the widest possible sense. For example, we can arrange for you to stay two-three months in Sri Lanka. The only thing you have to pay yourself is the flight ticket… just to mention one possibility!
Nicole Malmedé
“Her interest for people and her wish to overcome thresholds made her
choose a rather uncommon path in life.” Nicole Malmedé credo: 'I want
to bring people together, not their portemonnaies'. Being true to her
motto, the art dealer is often on the road, establishing
contacts, arranging artists meetings, bringing potential buyers to the
artist's studio or the artist to the home of people interested in
the artworks.”
These quotes were selected from an interview that Carola Waldek,
editor-in-chief and publisher of the “Kölner Südstadtmagazin” had with
Nicole Malmedé at the end of June 2004 regarding an art exhibition in
the Cologne Zoo.
Born in Cologne, and raised in the City on the Rhine, art played a significant role early in her life.
Her grand-uncle, L.M. Malmedé, owned a well-known art- and
antique-store on the Schildergasse in Cologne. And so it could not be
excluded that her professional carrier brought her to the arts.
After many years of traveling around the United States, Paris,
Lausanne, Geneva, Munich, Hamburg, she came back to settle in Paris,
and finally she returned to her city of birth and became an art dealer. (Photo by: Dagmar SIPPEL)
